A section of Ash Swamp Road in Scarborough is closed Wednesday morning as emergency crews respond to a car accident.

The accident was reported just after 8:30 a.m. and there is at least one person with injuries, according to an emergency dispatcher. Ash Swamp Road is closed between Hearn and Broadturn roads.

No other details were immediately available.
