BIDDEFORD — Richard J. Pelletier, 85, died July 3, 2014, at a Bangor hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1928, in Caribou, the son of Paul and Mattie (Leclair) Pelletier.

He is survived by: a son, Roy Pelletier Sr., of Ellington, Connecticut; a daughter, Mavis Paprocki and her husband Warren, of Philadelphia, Mississippi; two grandchildren, Roy Jr. and Karissa; a sister, Lottie Stevens, of Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
