BATH — An Artists’ Reception for guest artist Sylvia Bangs, and Centre St Arts Gallery, LLC member artists will be held on Friday, July 18 during the Bath Third Friday Art Walk at 11 Centre Street, Bath, from 5 to 8 pm.
Her work has been widely exhibited in Galleries and Art shows throughout Maine and Massachusetts and has been written up in many state and local newspapers, including Maine Sunday Telegram.
She has studied with nationally known oil and watercolorist Lawrence Sisson; New York and Maine artist John Muench; and James Elliot of Bath, Maine.
I am constantly seeking new textures and forms to incorporate into my surrealistic drawings, filling the whole with subconscious forms.”
Sylvia Bangs’ work will be on exhibit at the Centre St Arts Gallery, 11 Centre Street, Bath, from June 29 through August 9, 2014.
