BIDDEFORD — Marc C. Lessard, 58, passed away in his Redland, Calif. home on May 13, 2014.

Marc was the youngest of four children of Conrad and Theresa Lessard, and was born Nov. 11, 1955.

Marc graduated from Biddeford High School in 1973.

He then enlisted into the military, and completed a 20-year career in the Air Force. He was stationed in Dover, Del., and then reassigned to the Philippines, and later transferred to For Ord in California, where he was stationed before retiring.

After retiring, Marc found employment with the U.S. Postal Service in San Bernadino, and was of great service to them for 20 years, until his death.

He was preceded in death by: his sister, Doris Montpas, in 1997; and his parents, Conrad Lessard and Theresa (Tremblay) Lessard.

Marc is survived by: his wife of 25 years, Tina; a daughter, Amber Lynn of Oklahoma; two brothers, Renald of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and Lucien and his wife Claudette of Biddeford.

A military funeral with full honors took place in Redland, Calif. on May 29, 2014. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at Most Holy Trinity Church, Good Shepherd Parish, in Saco, at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014.
