Tails on the Trails, 10 to 11:30 a.m. in Boothbay

Ranger Talk, 2 p.m. in Freeport

Educational nature programs at Wolfe’s Neck Woods State Park run every weekend and will run daily starting June 30. Programs last one hour, weather permitting. This week, walk with a park ranger along the wheelchair-accessible trail and learn about the park’s ecosystem. The nature programs are free with park admission, which is $1 for ages 5 to 11; $3 for 12 to 64; and free for Maine residents over 65 or under 5. For more information, call 865-4465.

Garden Tour, 10 a.m., July 13, Rockport region

The annual Georges River Land Trust Gardens in the Watershed tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 13. Seven gardens in the middle watershed towns of Appleton, Rockport, Union and Warren will be open for visitors. In addition, gardening experts will speak at two of the gardens. Bob Emmons, former professor of plant science at the State University of New York, will speak about Japanese beetles. Sharon Turner, master gardener, consultant, educator and garden designer, will speak on gardening for birds. Tickets are available for $25 from local merchants and at www.georgesriver.org/garden.
