Looking for an evening of entertainment where you can bring the kids and the dogs and your own picnic? Several towns in the area are holding summer-time concert series.

In Georgetown, there will be an outdoor family concert tonight from 5-7 p.m. at the Georgetown Community Center in Five Islands.

Bath will hold three great music series throughout the summer. Fridays and Tuesdays at 7 p.m., there will be music at the Gazebo in Library Park. On June 21 and June 28, the Bath Municipal Band will play. On June 25, the Bath Municipal Swing Band will perform.

Summer Saturdays at Six is the other concert series, which will have its first concert on July 13.

Weather will cancel. A decision will be made by 4 p.m. on the day of the event.

In Brunswick, Music on the Mall begins June 25, with Backlash, a classic rock, blues, oldies and country band. Concerts will take place, weather permitting, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. If rain cancels, check to see if the concert is rescheduled for Thursday.

In Harpswell, a concert series will take place at Harpswell Bandstand at Mitchell Field. Mitchell Field is located on Rt. 123 in Harpswell, and the concerts run Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The second concert, to be held next Thursday, June 26, is Old Grey Goose, a folk band.

Bowdoinham is also holding a concert series on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. On June 26, Kevin Midgley will play country, blues, and original music.

Lisbon’s concert series begins on Saturday, July 12, with Scarab – a Journey tribute band. The concert will take place at The Pavilion at Marion T Morse Park, on School Street.
