Great nations fall when politicians fail to govern for all the citizens. What is happening in America is a sure way to destroy a nation. When you have one party whose only loyalty is to corporate America and one that tries to split its loyalty is a system, that will not work.
When will people realize America has been cutting programs, giving tax breaks to those who don’t need them for years and nothing has gotten better, the real truth is it has gotten worse. Republicans love to blame President Obama for everything that has gone wrong in the world, yet their hands are not clean. I hope someday the Democrats have the guts to stand up to the Republicans and ask them how much better they would run the country.
If you are a voter, why would you vote for someone who does not want you to have Obamacare, Medicare, wants to privatize Social Security, post offices, schools, eliminate welfare and HUD ”“ not because they want to save taxpayers’ money, but so some company can make money.
This may come as a shock to taxpayers, but if anyone has noticed, their property taxes have increased and services have declined, so you may want to see what party is holding the governor’s office. Don’t forget unless you live in a box or your car, everyone pays property tax.
American teachers, you can thank the Republican party for its devotion to make sure you teach America’s children right, without the burden of paying union dues, thanks to a judge in California that ruled tenure, seniority or the right to appeal one’s firing is unconstitutional. Maine teachers, you have been warned. This will allow bad teachers to be fired. We can also thank the Republicans for blocking lower interest rates for students. Does anyone know how we survive?
