BRUNSWICK — The Rev. Tim Lee will be speaking at Berean Baptist Church, 15 Cumberland St., on Sunday, June 8, during the 10:45 a.m. service, and again at the gazebo in downtown Brunswick at 6 p.m.

Lee is a Marine Corps sergeant and Purple Heart recipient from the Vietnam War. “A violent land mine explosion in 1971 placed him in a wheelchair, but also made him one of the most exciting evangelists and Christian statesman of our generation,” according to a news release. “The Rev. Lee will present messages of power and patriotism based upon biblical truth that will inspire, encourage and give people hope.”
