Freeport’s Jay Pier recently won the U-16 Eastern Finals in both the slalom and Super G and placed sixth in the giant slalom, qualifying for the Can-Ams in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, as a result. He competed at the Can-Ams March 20-23.
