Kelly Renaud of Freeport runs with her new dog Archie, a rescue dog from Texas, on a chilly day in Freeport. Renaud said she got Archie, a mixed breed, as a Valentine’s Day gift. 
Adults and youths alike braved the cold – some of them for 24 hours – on Feb. 15-16 to raise money for fuel and food that will allow Freeport Community Services to carry on with its mission. The 10th annual Freeze Out was held outside First Church Congregational in Freeport.
