PMA Family Vacation Drawing Festival

The museum will showcase the newly redesigned PMA Family Space during February school vacation week. The space’s designer, artist Clint Fulkerson, will offer drawing exercises and games.
Fulkerson created an over-sized, three-dimensional drawing for our the museum’s family audience to play and learn and experience together. He will talk about how a drawing is made, and encourage children make their own. The program ties in to “Fine Lines: American Drawings from the Brooklyn Museum,” on view in the museum’s first floor gallery.

WHERE: Gamble Education Center, located on the corner of Grace and Union Street in Rockland.
Art instructor Trelawney O’Brien will lead a winter-break camp for kids age 5 to 8. Children will make colorful paper bowls, look at maps and create a map of their world with different materials, build snow sculptures and make winter masks with plaster and paint. O’Brien is an artist and educator, who also teaches adult art workshops and an after-school program at Rockland Middle School.
