BIDDEFORD — Susan Kolze, 70, of Biddeford, died Thursday morning, Jan. 16, 2014 at Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford.
She was born in Newark, N.J. on May 21, 1943, a daughter of Frank W. Handlen and Fredericka D. (Hendershott).
She grew up in Biddeford Pool and was a graduate of Biddeford High School.
Susan was a homemaker and was very artistic. She enjoyed restoring and decorating her home.
She is survived by: her father, Frank W. Handlen of Kennebunkport; her son, Mark Thomas; her brother, Paul Handlen; and her sister, Patricia Talbot.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk. Arrangements are in care of Bibber Memorial Chapel. www.bibberfuneral.com.
