SACO — Jeffrey A. Noonan was taken suddenly home to be with the Lord on Jan. 12, 2014, after a very long struggle with kidney disease.
He was born Dec. 27, 1964 in Saco, and was the son of Anita Michaud of Arundel and J. Andrew Noonan of North Pole, Alaska.
Jeff was a carpenter by trade and a graduate of culinary arts in Bangor.
He was very family oriented and loved to attend family gatherings. He loved animals, especially dogs and horses, and loved children and was so proud of his grandchildren. He enjoyed baseball and was an avid Red Sox fan.
He loved his church family and was a member of the Kennebunk Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: his father, J. Andrew Noonan; son, Christopher Noonan; and Tina Crawford.
He leaves: his mother, Anita Michaud; his sons, Jarrett Noonan and Shane and wife Florina, all of Saco; his grandchildren, twins Cadin and Destiny, twins Rose and Tina, and Chase, Gage and Alana, all of Saco; his brother, Mark Noonan and wife Rae Anne and their girls Jasmyn and Janyce of Biddeford; his sister, Elsie Mooney and her family James Sr., Daniel, Cheyenne, Carissa and James Jr. of West Paris; and a very special aunt and second mom, Beverly Emerson.
A celebration of his life will be held on Feb. 17 at 1 p.m. at the Kennebunk Baptist Church, 77 Main St. in Kennebunk. In lieu of flowers, should one desire, a monetary contribution for Ethan Houle, Kidney for Life Foundation, Biddeford Saco Bank, P.O. Box 12, Kennebunk, ME 04043, would be appreciated. Ethan is a local 16-year-old who is in dire need of a kidney operation, and someone who touched Jeff’s heart deeply. A private interment will be held in the spring in the Emerson family cemetery in Arundel.
