The socialist assault continues and the wonderful mind of man continues to rationalize destructive behavior to solve problems caused by big government control of all we do, in this case, health care.
The reason that health care costs so much is because of government regulation mandating all sorts of bureaucratic feces that has nothing to do with treating the patient. Now we are told that a wonderful single-payer system would solve these problems. Well, more of what caused the problems in the first place will most likely continue to exacerbate the situation.
Let’s get back to basics. What was it that made America great? Answer: The free market and competition among providers to supply the best care at the lowest price. Was it government programs that made America great? Only a fool or liar would say yes to that one.
Many people understand that government does not have to be efficient at anything it does. That efficiency that it does have is destructive, namely, taking money from people who earn it to give it to people who did not earn it. And, the silly phrases alleging that the current system is broken are merely a lament that some folks need charity.
The taxpayers need to understand that government charity is unconstitutional, immoral, wasteful and counterproductive, and socialism will be the death of America.
A quote to remember: If you think health care is expensive now, just wait until it is free.
And, a nice joke: It’s so cold, I actually saw a Democrat with his hands in his own pockets.
