I watch television a lot of days because I am 70 years old and it’s all I can do. All I see are pleas about feeding the hungry, but it is always children from other countries. Don’t we have enough kids in the U.S. to help?

My wife and I live on less than $12,000 a year. We get $9 each a month and starting in the new year, we are both on Social Security. We get a raise, and they take more than the $18 a month with food stamps.

Doesn’t anyone care about the people on Social Security who are poor? The governor doesn’t care what happens to them. How can the poor help themselves and do better if the governor cuts all the things that might help the poor?

It’s time for a new governor in office who will help the poor.

Let’s get the governor to help set up a place that will help take care of the poor, help feed them and find a place for them to get out of the cold. Get the people who have an office in the capitol to stop putting money in their pockets and put it back in the state to help the poor and people on Social Security.

They say that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Just look at the one in office and then the ones on Social Security.

The U.S. is in debt because we send all of our money to feed other countries’ people, and then we let them into the U.S. to take our jobs.
