The Brunswick Downtown Association announced the winners of its Holly Jolly Holidays Window Decorating Contest among businesses in the Maine Street area.
Businesses were encouraged to “bedazzle” shoppers and pedestrians with their creative, lighted window displays.
First Place Prize: Timeless Cottage, 66 Maine St., $500 prize.
Most Sparkle Power: Trendy Closet, 124 Maine St., $250 prize.
Most Creative: It’s All Good, 212D Maine St., $100 prize.
Honorable Mentions: Norway Savings Bank, 83 Maine St. – Creativity. Morning Glory, 60 Maine St., Sparkle Power.
Debora King, Brunswick Downtown Association’s executive director, presented cash prizes and certificates to winning business owners at the BDA’s Holly Jolly Holidays Victorian Tea, held at First Parish Church.
Eighteen businesses entered this year’s competition.
Local residents, business owners and visitors are encouraged to stroll down Maine Street and view each of these displays, which help make downtown Brunswick a more inviting and festive place.
