Christmas Marketplace – Saturday, Dec 7, 8:30 a.m. – 3 p.m., Bar Mills Community Church, corner of Portland Road and Hermit Thrush Drive, Buxton. Knit items, wreaths and swags; a large variety of jams and pickles, mixes for soups and dips, cookies, breads, pies, candy and themed raffle baskets. Lunch.

Books and Bake Sale – Saturday, Dec. 7, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., North Gorham Public Library, corner of North Gorham and Standish Neck roads, Gorham. Selection of good used books (primarily fiction), baked goods, and some crafts; holiday baked goods will be available from the United Church of Christ at North Gorham Guild.
