TOPSHAM — The Rev. Dr. J. Barrie Shepherd will be giving the sermon and doing a poetry reading during fellowship hour Sunday, Dec. 8, at 10:10 a.m. The public is welcome to attend the events at Mid-Coast Presbyterian Church, 84 Main St., Topsham. Shepherd is the author of numerous books on faith including: “Faces at the Manger,” “Whatever Happened to Delight? Preaching the Gospel in Poetry and Parables,” and “Faces by the Wayside.”
