City website updated
The City of Westbrook recently launched its new website at www.westbrookmaine.com. To view the site properly requires an updated Internet browser. For Windows XP, use Firefox or Google Chrome. Inaugural ceremonies
Mayor Colleen Hilton, City Clerk Lynda Adams, the City Council and the School Committee invite residents to the City Inaugural Ceremonies on Monday, Dec. 2 at 7 p.m. at the Westbrook Performing Arts Center, 471 Stroudwater St. A reception will follow the ceremony.
Library open house
Friends of Walker Memorial Library will host their annual Holiday Open House on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the library, 800 Main St. The open house will include treats, a piano performance by the Chopin Club, and fiddle and flute music by the Amell Sisters.
Sunset Ridge craft fair
Sunset Ridge Golf Links, 771 Cumberland St., is hosting a craft fair event for two days, Nov. 30 and Dec. 1. Both days run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. The fair features a diverse lineup of crafters, artists, and vendors. Admission is free. Food and cocktails are available. Christmas crafts show
The Christmas Magic Arts and Crafts Show will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Westbrook Middle School, 471 Stroudwater St., Westbrook. The show features a selection of offerings from Maine artisans. Admission is $2; under 12, free.
