Irish group Lunasa at Chocolate Church

It’s ‘Wonderful’ at Monmouth

Festival of the Trees opens Friday in Saco
YOU KNOW IT’S the holiday season when people start filling entire museums with decorated trees. That’s what will happen at the Saco Museum’s ninth annual Festival of the Trees, which officially opens Friday. There will be a tree lighting, ribbon cutting, music, hot chocolate, and of course, lots of decorated trees to look at.

Open Mic Night for kids and teens

Round and round it goes
STUDENTS AT Waynflete School in Portland have created a series of spheres that hang in the school gallery. “Spheres of Influence” is a collaborative installation by all Waynflete Middle School students. Each student made three spheres, for a total of more than 400 spheres. The exhibit, which also included printed and recorded words, explores the power of language.
