WATERVILLE — Thousands of Marden’s customers throughout Maine participated in the annual Marden’s Summer Camp Mobile program, raising more than $15,000. The campaign benefits the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Maine.
The campaign centers on $1 and $5 mobiles that customers buy and sign. The mobiles are displayed on ceilings and walls, helping to decorate stores and create a summer camp atmosphere.
“Marden’s loyalty and dedication helps make our Summer Camp program a success,” said Ashley King, executive director of the MDA of Maine.
Marden’s, a family owned business, is a chain of retail stores located throughout the state. Marden’s employs more than 850 people.
