On Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Windham High School auxiliary gym, eight candidates will appear on the ballot vying for three open seats on the Town Council and a seat on the school board.

Peter Anania, who currently represents the council’s North District, is challenging former councilor Robert Muir for an open, at-large seat for a three-year term. The seat is currently held by Scott Hayman, who is not running for re-election. Muir served on the council from 2003 to 2009.

Kevin Call, who currently fills a seat on the council representing the South District, is seeking to remain in the position for his second term. He is receiving a challenge from Donna Chapman, who served on the council from 2007 to 2010.

Roy Moore, a local chiropractor and owner of Windham’s Seacoast Fun Park, is running unopposed to fill Anania’s seat representing the North District.

Residents Jennifer Fleck, Eric Colby and Pete Heanssler, who do not have previous political experience, are seeking a seat representing Windham on the Regional School Unit Board of Directors for a three-year term.

Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
