Here, on our shores, the Buick lineup begins with the mighty Enclave CUV, which was recently slightly modernized. Designed to carry seven or eight passengers, it is still powered by a modern 3.6-liter V-6 engine. Recently, Buick dealers began selling the Encore, a much smaller CUV designed for city dwellers looking for a luxury vehicle that is very thrifty on fuel. It is available with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and front- or all-wheel drive.
Let’s not forget that Buick is well known for its great looking sedans. The biggest model is the La Crosse sedan, available with a V-6 engine or an electric motor-assisted four-cylinder mill with front- or all-wheel drive. It, too, recently underwent a slight redesign. Following this model is the mid-sized Regal, a front- or all-wheel drive sedan with a regular or turbocharged four-cylinder powerplant. The Regal is also available as a GS model with an even more powerful turbo four.
Lastly, Buick offers an even smaller car, the recent Verano. This compact sedan with front-wheel drive is powered by a standard fourcylinder or turbocharged engine.
