ROCKPORT — “Maine Made 2013,” a consumer show featuring Maine-made products, will take place at the Samoset Resort in Rockport on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show’s 50 exhibitors will include Maine food producers, artisans, jewelry makers, wineries, and fine furniture makers among others.
A mission of “Maine Made 2013” is to encourage people to shop locally. The one-day show is co-produced by the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Food Producers’ Alliance.
Tickets are available at the door. Prices are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors, and children under 12 are free. Wine tasting will be featured as well as samples from area chefs using Maine products as their ingredients.
