BRUNSWICK — Laura Liswood, author, lawyer and a global leader of women’s initiatives, will speak about “Moving Beyond Diversity While Embracing Differences to Achieve Success at Work” on Thursday, Oct. 3 in Freeport.

Her talk is being arranged by the Maine Institute for Family-Owned Business in partnership with TD Bank.

Hilton Garden Inn in Freeport will host the 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. event, which is open to institute members ($75) and others ($125). A social hour will follow the program.
