BRUNSWICK — Pejepscot Historical Society will conduct a walking tour through the grounds of Merrymeeting Park and the J.C. Humphreys shipyard at 1 p.m. Sept. 1.

Local historian Christopher Gutscher will lead visitors through the historic site of the former amusement park on Merrymeeting Bay.

Meet at the Joshua L. Chamberlain Museum at 226 Maine St. Registration is required. Call 729-6606 to register; payment not due until tour.
