A Wilton customer service branch of Barclaycard announced Tuesday afternoon that it would be adding 200 new jobs over the next two years.
 
Barclaycard, which runs a call center on Weld Road in Wilton, will be adding 100 jobs within the first year and 100 more following in 2014, according to a press release from Gov. Paul LePage’s
 
Barclaycard has been operating at its branch in Wilton since 2008, providing customer service for its credit cards.
 
LePage attended the news conference where Barclaycard made the announcement, and congratulated the company officials.
 
Barclaycard is an international financial services company that works in banking, credit cards and investment management.
