BATH — A first-time novelist, Mary Parsons of Bath, has published a novella, “The Betrayal.”

It is a short, captivating story of love, betrayal and redemption set with the back drop of 9/11. The maincharacter,Annahasaagood marriage, a loving husband and two beautiful daughters. All seems to be perfect in her world until her husband is killed on 9/11 and she finds that her world was not as perfect as she believed.

Awash with grief and panic, Anna has just broken the news to her young twin daughters when her own twin sister appears at her door with a secret that will shatter Anna’s already broken world.

The 9/11 terrorist attacks are a backdrop to a story of a complicated relationship between twin sisters.
