NORWICH, Conn. — Miss Patricia Ann Kay and Mr. Loren Joseph Shuck were united in the sacrament of marriage on Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick in Norwich, Conn.

The wedding Mass was officiated by Monsignor Anthony Rosaforte, music for the Mass was provided by Micheal Noonan, vocalist Patricia May, and Heather Yanovich as the violinist. Ceremony readings were performed by Cyril Mulligan, uncle of the groom, and Thomas Howard, brother of the bride.

The bride and groom hosted a James Bondthemed reception in the Chelsea Rose Ballroom of the Holiday Inn, in Norwich, and a rehearsal luncheon at Mohegan Sun Resort.

The bride is the daughter of Norma Virginia Howard and the late John Vernon Howard. The groom is the son of Carol Bolton Shuck and the late Leo Joseph Shuck.

Escorted by her brother David Wayne Howard, the bride wore a strapless Alfred Angelo gown of ivory lace with hand embroidered designs, crystal beading, and a semicathedral train, which was complemented by a one-tier, shimmer, finger-tip veil. The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of yellow roses and lilac accent flowers.

Kerry Ann Kay, daughter of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Kileen Jo Howard, sister of the bride, and Danielle Kay, daughter-in-law of the bride. The flower girls were Erin Coffin, granddaughter of the bride, and Ellianna Victor, great-niece of the bride. The bridal party wore Wisteria colors from David’s Bridal.

Caleb Allen Shuck served as best man. Groomsmen included Brandon Michael Kay and Scott Thomas Kay. The men wore Vera Wang tuxedos from Men’s Wearhouse.

The bride is an alumni of South High in South Glens Falls, N.Y., and is employed as a R.N., director of nurses, in coastal Maine. The groom is an alumni of Washington Academy in Down East Maine, and is retired from a law enforcement career. Following a honeymoon in various locations throughout Alaska, the couple will reside in Greene, Maine.
