BIDDEFORD – A multi-vehicle crash sent several people to local hospitals, according to police, who are releasing few details about the incident

The accident occurred at about 6 pm. Friday on U.S. Route 1, which is Elm Street in Biddeford.

Police said the accident happened in front of RepubliCash and police are attempting to reconstruct what happened.
