MONMOUTH — Rounding out Theater at Monmouth’s 2013 summer fare is Joan Didion’s “The Year of Magical Thinking,” opening today, July 26, at 7:30 p.m.
In this adaptation of her best-selling memoir of the same name, Didion presents a life-affirming approach to the grief experienced after the death of a loved one. Told with eloquent language, humor, and the searing candor Didion is known for, this one-woman tour de force paints an insightful portrait of a lifetime of love and a moment of loss.
Additional performances are scheduled July 27 and 31 at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 4 and 17 at 1 p.m., and Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. with a post-show talkback.
Tickets are $30 on opening nights, $28 for regular tickets, $25 for seniors and $20 for students. For calendar, reservations, and rush ticket availability, contact the TAM Box Office at 933-9999 or visit www.theateratmonmouth.org.
