AUGUSTA — More than 600 quilts — from antique to contemporary — will be on display this weekend at the Augusta Civic Center.
Doors are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on today and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
There will be workshops, a merchants mall, demonstrations, lectures and quilt appraisals. An auction is planned tonight.
Special exhibits include “Quiltings, Frolicks and Bees: 100 Years of Signature Quilts”; “Hoffman Challenge 2012”; and “Pilgrim Roy Challenge 2014,” and exhibition organized by the National Quilt Museum in Paducah, Ky.
Daily admission is $8; multi-day tickets are $15.
