Doris (Smith) Holmes, 82, of Acton and formerly of Burlington, Mass., passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease, on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at the Greenwood Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in Sanford. A celebration of Doris’ life will be held on Saturday, July 27 from 12-2 p.m. at the Acton Congregational Church in Acton. Normand R. Laflamme, 81, of Biddeford, died Friday, July 19, 2013 at his home after a long illness, surrounded by his loving family.
