BRUNSWICK
Westbrook artist Jeff Pert likes lobsters and moose. Even more, though, he loves to anthropomorphize them, dropping native Maine wildlife into complicated, distinctly human situations.
His whimsical depictions are one of the featured artist’s displays during the Second Friday ArtWalk today, with the exhibit running through Aug. 9 at Maine Street retailer Cool As A Moose. Pert will be at Cool As A Moose at 6:30 p.m. today.
Also today, the Skolfield- Whittier house will display “Images of Brunswick,” a collection of images inspired by Brunswick landmarks as created by local painter Jack Gable. And painter and writer Susan Rayfield will exhibit oils, pastels and watercolors in Summer Island Studio, in the Tontine Mall. For information, call Five Rivers Arts Alliance at 798-6964.
