BAR HARBOR — Lauren Marie Lafey and Nathan Martin Strange of Portland were married on May 11, 2013. The ceremony took place at the Bar Harbor Inn in Maine, and was officiated by Nancy Curtis-Strange, notary.

The reception also took place at the Bar Harbor Inn.

The bride, daughter of Terri and Jon Lafey of Pipersville, Pa., is a graduate of Central Bucks High School in East Doylestown, Pa., and Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia. She works as a designer at L.L. Bean.

The groom, son of Nancy Curtis-Strange and Michael Strange of Brunswick, is a graduate of Brunswick High School and USM. He works as an admissions officer at Kaplan University.

The couple took a wedding trip to Bonaire.
