BOWDOIN — Marc Dube recently had the experience of a lifetime: The Bowdoin man was honored on the field at Fenway Park prior to the Boston Red Sox game against the Oakland A’s on June 19, named the Blood Donor of the Game.

All presenting donors at Red Cross blood drives in New England from now until the end of the 2013 baseball season will have the opportunity to enter to win the honor.

In addition to winning two tickets to a game at Fenway Park, the Blood Donor of the Game is presented with a commemorative souvenir and takes part in a special on-thefield ceremony prior to the game.
