WISCASSET — Most children dig dinosaurs. Most children know more about dinosaurs than do most adults.

On Thursday, June 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wiscasset Public Library, children and adults alike will have an opportunity to expand their awareness of these prehistoric creatures. Former Gifted and Talented teacher Georgie Thompson will share her knowledge of dinosaurs in the first presentation of the library’s 2013 summer reading program, “Dig Into Reading.”

The Children’s Room last Story Time of the season will be at 10:30 on Thursday, June 20. This will include planting annuals in the Monarch Butterfly Garden on the library grounds. School-age children as well as Story Time children are welcome.
