SCARBOROUGH – David Creech has been appointed the new principal of Scarborough High School, following the Board of Education’s approval at its meeting June 6.
Creech, an assistant principal at Kennebunk High School, starts in Scarborough July 1.
“Mr. Creech’s references and recommendations were impressively glowing and he was highly recommended as the candidate for the position of Principal of Scarborough High School by the Search Committee,” Superintendent George Entwistle said in a letter announcing Creech’s hire. “Feedback received from stakeholders (students, parents, staff, Leadership Council members) who had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Creech, too, was overwhelmingly positive.”
Creech met with students, staff and community members during a visit to Scarborough last month.
