The Wednesday Walkers, a walking and hiking group in the Mid-coast, plans a hike or walk every Wednesday morning through November, weather permitting.

A typical hike is 2 to 4 miles, usually on trails maintained by a land trust.

Walkers meet at the Friends Meeting House in Damariscotta. To receive emails about future hikes, email wednesday_ walkerssubscribe@yahoogroups.com.

Participating groups include Chewonki , Harpswell Head Land Trust and Kennebec Estuary Land Trust.
