Lorraine T. Thibeault Golden, 81, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, of cancer in the Pride Unit at The Village of Summerville with family by her side.

She was born July 7, 1931, the daughter of Emile J. Thibeault Sr. and Rose Bouchard Thibeault of Topsham, Maine.

She was married to Hugh R. Golden of Summerville, S.C., and resided there for many years. She worked at the family business, Thibeault’s Express in Brunswick, Maine with her father Emile Sr., brothers Louis, Emile Jr. and Bob Thibeault. She spent a few years in Phoenix, Arizona working at the Wells Fargo Bank before marrying Hugh R. Golden and moving to Summerville, S.C.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Brunswick, Maine and St. Theresa The Little Flower Catholic Church in Summerville, S.C.

She is predeceased by her father, Emile J. Thibeault Sr., her mother Rose Bouchard Thibeault, brother Emile J. Thibeault Jr. and her husband Hugh R. Golden, who died August 17, 2011.

She is survived by three stepsons Sid Hardeman, Gregg Golden, Craig Golden; one stepdaughter Denise Golden Waller of Summerville, S.C.; two brothers Louis Thibeault of Brunswick, Maine and Robert Thibeault and his wife Deanna of Sabattus, Maine; and a sister-in-law Carole Thibeault of Brunswick, Maine; three step-grandchildren Zane Harwick, Theresa Dunlap and Stephen Dunlap of Summerville, S.C.; two step-greatgrandchildren Gavin Hardwick and Emma Dunlap of Summerville, S.C.; and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013, at All Saints Parish, St. John the Baptist Church, 39 Pleasant St., Brunswick, Maine. Burial will follow at St. Johns Cemetery.
