LEWISTON — Midcoast Symphony Orchestra under Conductor Rohan Smith will present its final concert of the season at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, at the Franco- American Heritage Center, 46 Cedar St., Lewiston, and Sunday, May 19, at 2:30 p.m. at Orion Performing Arts Center, 66 Republic Ave., Topsham.
The Overture to the great comic opera “Cost fan tutte,” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is Serge Prokofiev’s tuneful and exciting “Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor,” with soloist Eva Gruesser, and Cesar Franck’s “Melodic and Dramatic Symphony in D minor.”
