BRUNSWICK — Mid Coast Senior Health Center said its monthly support group on dementia is designed to help understand the challenges of caring for people with dementia, fostering supportive and beneficial conversation among participants.
On Thursday, May 16, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., Bodwell Nursing and Rehabilitation Center staff will present “Falls and Dementia, How the Disease Effects Balance and Perception,” focusing on how the progression of dementia effects a person’s balance and visual perception in relation to environment.
The event is free and open to the public, and meets the third Thursday of every month at Mid Coast Senior Health Center, 58 Baribeau Drive. For more information, call 373-4656.
