BRUNSWICK — The artists of Points of View Art Gallery and the volunteers of Arts Are Elementary invite Maine artists to submit original artwork to Brunswick’s 10 X 10 Benefit Art Exhibit and Sale.
All work is priced at $200. If sold the artist receives $100 and $100 benefits Arts Are Elementary, a local nonprofit that provides artist-in-residences to all Brunswick students in grades K through 5.
The date for this year’s 10 X 10 Benefit is Friday, Sept. 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Morrell Meeting Room, Curtis Memorial Library, 23 Pleasant St. and Parish Hall, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 27 Pleasant St.
Application information is as follows: Artist must be at least 18 years old and a full- or part-time resident of Maine. Artist may submit one or two pieces.
Work must fit within a 10-inch square format. We provide the 10- inch-by-10-inch black metal frame, foam core and optional glass. We do not provide matting.
A $10 fee per artist must be included with application.
