BATH — The Bath Garden Club will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, at the Winter Street Center, 880 Washington St.
After a light fare of sandwiches and wine, there will be a business meeting, then a program titled “Ospreys” by Dr. Herb Wilson.
Wilson was chairman of the division of natural sciences at Colby College from 2010 to 2011, and has taught there since 1990. His current projects include monitoring the changes in spring arrival dates of Maine migratory birds, movement patterns of purple finches, Maine butterfly survey, vocalizations of red-eyed vireos, and gene flow of bog coppers.
One of his expertise is in discussing ospreys and their habitats.
Guests are welcome.
