BRUNSWICK — Maynard and Geneva Quittmeyer Henderson of Brunswick recently marked their 70th wedding anniversary.

A celebration was held on March 17, with family, friends and neighbors attending an open house at their home.

While the couple are now retired, Geneva was a housewife and Maynard was a poultry farmer until 1960 and then a dental lab owner/tech from 1961-1993.

Their children include: Marion Van Arsdale of Greeneville, Tenn., and husband Rick; Patricia Fisher of Panama City, Fla., and husband Rodney; R. John Henderson of Orlando, Fla.; Beverly Snow of Oxford, Maine, and husband William; and James Henderson of Brunswick, Maine.

The couple have 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
