EXETER, N.H. — Phillips Exeter Academy said Elizabeth D. Ambler, a sophomore from Bath, earned Highest Honors for the winter 2013 term. Ambler is the daughter of the Rev. and Mrs. Michael N. Ambler Jr.

Also, Claire F. Keating, a junior from West Bath, earned Honors for the winter 2013 semester at Exeter. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Keating.

LISBON — Aaron Halls of Lisbon Falls, a senior at Lisbon High School, was selected to receive the 2013 Principal’s Award, Principal Kenneth Healey announced.

The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.

“Aaron Halls is one of the finest young men I have ever met,” Healey said. “He is a true ambassador for Lisbon High School, and can be counted on 100 percent of the time to represent Lisbon High School with dignity and class.”

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — University of New Haven student Kenneth Hall, of Bath, was awarded the 2013 Undergraduate Award of Distinction by the North- American Interfraternity Conference.

The award recognizes a fraternity man who is a leader. Hall, a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, completed a double major and double minor with a 3.92 GPA.
