BATH — Carleton Realty celebrated its fourth anniversary with an open house and party for “Signs of Spring,” its annual celebration of art in Mid-coast Maine, Friday, March 22.
Nancy Carleton, owner/ broker of the agency, thanked the 75 to 80 guests and artists who attended the event, as well as musician Brendan Lake, who played acoustic guitar.
“We are very grateful to all of our clients and business partners for four wonderful years as an agency. With such good friends, great brokers, and an ever improving market, we know that we have many more successful years ahead,” Carleton said in a news release.
“Signs of Spring” features almost 100 pieces of art by over 20 artists who live and work in Mid-coast and is open through April 22.
Artists included in “Signs of Spring” are Stuart Ross, Mary Truesdell, Gregory R. Moyer, Shirley Lewis, Judy Conlan, Don Josephson, Elaine Reed, Jane Dorr, Linda Murray, Claire Vigneau, Judith Schuppien, Joy Scott, Danièle Lambrechts, Consuelo G. Bailey, Meridith Hicks, Felicity Sidwell, Ann Durkin, Marilyn Flanagan, Wayne Robbins, Kathleen Durkin and Debra Arter.
Carleton Realty exhibits change bi-monthly. It also sponsors Third Friday Art Walks in Bath held during the summer months. All are welcome to visit Carleton Realty at 99 Commercial St. to view and to purchase the work during real estate business hours or by appointment. All proceeds go directly to the artist.
