BRUNSWICK — An eightweek in-depth drawing and illustration class will be offered Saturdays with Vance Bessey at The Mix, 53 Maine St.
Vance Bessey will offer a fun exploration of the drawing and illustration techniques used by designers, animators, comic book illustrators and professional artists of all types. Classes are for middle school-aged students through adult, beginner to advanced.
Classes are to be held each Saturday at 1 p.m. from March 16 through May 4. Two-hour classes will be $25 (there is a discount for paying all at once).
Subjects covered will be form, light and shadow; the human figure and animals; 3D representation (how to draw anything); as well as narrative art and storytelling.
