Town boards meeting schedule
The Pownal Board of Selectman is scheduled to meet Feb. 4 and 18, at 7 p.m., in the DeWitt Room. The Planning Board is scheduled to meet Feb. 20, at 7 p.m.
Weekly food pantry ?at Methodist Church
The North Pownal United Methodist Church food pantry, Lawrence Road, is open every Tuesday from 10:30 a.m.-noon. Organizers never know from week to week what they will be getting, but they usually received different kinds of breads, produce, desserts, etc. All are welcome.
Church services
The First Parish Congregational Church, Route 9, holds worship service on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sunday School for all ages is 11 a.m.-noon. Bible Study meets at the church on Tuesday at 7 a.m. For more information on church programs, contact the Rev. John Wentworth, 688-4846, jwent16@hotmail.com.

Piano needed
An area resident is seeking the donation of a small spinet piano to play for a family member and other residents at a local Alzheimer’s assisted living facility. Call 865-9507.
