BATH — The Bath Antiques Show and Sale continues its 23rd season on Sunday, Jan. 13, with more than 50 dealers present. The Bath shows are held on Sundays once a month from November to April.
They are the perfect antidote to winter doldrums, a news release said.
Participating dealers include Mark Flenard of Berwick, who deals in Civil War memorabilia such as badges and pins, camp furniture, personal items belonging to soldiers — such as bowie knives, canteens — period tinware, musical instruments, and many other identified pieces.
Rusty Farrin of Farrin’s Country Auctions of Randolph will be on hand to appraise antiques. Bring pieces to the show, and for a donation of cash or a non-perishable food item to the Bath Area Food Pantry, Farrin will appraise it without charge.
Speaking of food, these antiques shows don’t have the usual antiques show fare. Paul Fuller will be in his café, serving up unique and delicious homemade food.
The show will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Bath Middle School, 6 Old Brunswick Road. It is easily accessible from the Congress Avenue exit of U.S. Route 1. Posted signs will direct drivers the short distance to the school.
